I am an educator with over 20 years experience in the classroom and seven years in administration. Currently I am the Elementary Supervisor for Wantagh Elementary School, as well as the Supervisor of Elementary Supportive Reading and K-12 Libraries. This unique position allows me both building and district-level supervisory perspectives--a powerful combination. I am a graduate of C.W. This program emphasized the importance of a multiple-perspective problem solving and offered extensive statistical training. Research interests include: The effect of individual judgment on classroom assessment; College and Career Readiness; The particular challenges of transitional grades (e.g., grades 5-6, 8-9, and 12-13); Common Core Standards, and the effects of Managerialism on American schools.
