Profile Information

Tell our School Leadership 2.0 community a little bit about yourself. Feel free to post your email address and website. Also feel free to list your areas of interest. This will help other members dialogue with you.: I am currently an associate with the New York State Superintendent Development Program. I started my career having come from the private sector in Human Resources, Operations Management, and General Contracting.

Within education, I have been a trainer, a teacher, an assistant principal and a principal. I have taught and/or lead at all levels within urban and suburban areas of high wealth, and abject poverty.

The Common Core, RTTT, and related initiatives in teaching today have philosophically been in my repertoire since starting my educational career in 1989. The success that can be derived from these initiatives is difficult for those not having an innate belief that all can learn, and have a gift to share, but given time it will be borne-out through demonstration that change is relative and keeping hope alive is key to breaking a negative cycle in all we do.

I have an insatiable desire to lead at the highest levels, and to continuously strive to be the best in helping others be their best in whatever they do.
