Sachem School District. As a former Literacy Coordinator at the primary and intermediate levels, I am passionate about literacy instruction. I am also passionate about professional learning communities and distributive leadership. I believe without them a school and/or district cannot achieve their goals. Please e-mail me at firstname.lastname@example.org . Thanks, Cheryl

Sure, Cheryl. I think the best way to get started is to evaluate your learning environment. I have found Invitational Theory to be wonderful for creating a foundation for an optimal environment that intentionally helps students to develop a positive self-concept and invites them to choose behaviors that are of benefit to themselves. It addresses the people, places, policies, programs and processes to provide each person with the opportunity to reach their full potential. I'd be happy to talk with you about it. ...Give me a call if you'd like to chat: 631-673-2106.
