NCAMS PowerPoint on Math Core Standards
On April 3, 2012 Deputy Commissioner Ken Slentz along with Kate Gerson, Senior Fellow for Common Core and Educator Engagement, made themselves available to guide NCAMS and answer questions on the implementation of the CCLS-M. Their presentation included best instructional practices, what to expect on the assessments, and "next steps" to prepare our students for full implementation next year.
