There's only a few weeks left of summer - consider attending an arts enrichment class.  Some classes still have openings call 631-244-3473 to register

Enjoy art classes on the picturesque former estate of William K. Vanderbilt. Whether in the art studio or on the great lawn the mansion and grounds are sure to inspire the artist within. The Dowling College Arts Enrichment program offers fine art classes to adults and children in the community and to professional organizations. All classes are taught by New York State Certified Teachers or professionals in their disciplines.
We have partnered with the New York State Art Teachers’ Association Region 10 (LIATA-Suffolk) to bring professional development workshops to teaching professionals and exhibition space to students.

A collaboration with the Queens Museum of Art will bring “Room to Grow” a unique art experience to children and families affected by autism. Details about this program will be available this fall.

Classes are still available. For details click the link below.

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and

other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching

practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
