Poor acoustics make it difficult for students with lang. delays

I work within an old building that presents with high ceilings and large windows. Although the room is beautiful by site, it's been troubling for our 4 year olds who display difficulty processing information. Any suggestions for toning done the poor acoustics in our old classrooms?
