Virtual PD: Conducting Remote Observations to Support and Evaluate Teachers
Administrators, Teachers and Unions agree that the former methods of observation and evaluation must be adapted to effectively and equitably include remote learning.
During this three-hour virtual workshop, participants will be introduced to contemporary best practices for remote instruction including Danielson's Guide to Support Remote Teaching and Learning. Additionally, they will learn how to apply the Danielson Rubric (and support guide) as they evaluate various remote teaching scenarios.

Tom Troisi is a recently retired from his position as Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in the Valley Stream Central High School District. He currently serves as a consultant to local school districts and as an adjunct professor of School Leadership at The New York Institute of Technology and Touro College
