A Network Connecting School Leaders From Around The Globe
Practical workshops building AI skills for educators — created by educators.
Welcome from the Academy Director
Hi, I’m Siyuan Guo, Founder & CEO of Bitta AI and Director of the Mentors.net AI Academy.
I started working with educators because I kept hearing the same thing: teachers are curious about AI, but most of what’s out there is either too technical, too generic, or built for someone else’s classroom. The Academy exists to fix that.
Our goal is simple — help educators understand what AI can actually do for their teaching, and give them the hands-on experience to build something they can use right away. No prior AI experience needed. You bring your own material; you leave with something that works.
What We Offer
Every workshop in the Academy is hands-on and practical. You won’t sit through a lecture on AI theory — you’ll build, test, and walk away with a working tool built from your own teaching material.
Current Workshops:
Building Your First AI Teaching Agent
Turn your syllabus, lesson plans, or study guides into an interactive teaching agent that answers student questions, runs practice sessions, and shows you where students are getting stuck.
Solving Creative Roadblocks with AI (with Tedd Hawks)
Join a free, hands-on online workshop where we help you solve creative roadblocks with the help of AI. AI can help you generate content, images, brainstorm, and format work — but there are a wide variety of uses and tools you can leverage.

Earn Your Badge
Upon completing a workshop, you’ll receive a digital badge recognizing your new skills — something you can display on your professional profile, share with your school, or add to your portfolio.

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource
Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and
other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching
practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
