The results of the Long Island Education Coalition (LIEC) Survey of the impact of state aid cuts on Long Island school districts has helped inform recent news coverage about program reductions

The results of the Long Island Education Coalition (LIEC) Survey of the impact of state aid cuts on Long Island school districts has helped inform recent news coverage about program reductions. Attached are two articles from Newsday that reference the preliminary results (also attached) of the survey. We plan to release the complete report in October.

If you are one of the few districts that has not responded to the survey, I would ask that you take a few minutes to do so. If you have any problem accessing the survey, please feel free to contact Andrea Grooms at agrooms@esboces.org. Your response will be included if you complete the survey by September 15.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.
