Dear Administrator:  

I am interested in a secondary teaching position in science and/or special education. I am well qualified for either position, currently possessing four New York State teaching certifications: Earth and general science 7th- 12th grades, students with disabilities 5th - 7th and 7th - 12th. I have ten years of teaching experience in the New York City Department of Education. I have experience working with diverse student population and engage them in learning. I use teaching methods that coincide with Common Core Curriculum, including high-interest learning material, multiple means of assessment and instruction as well as modeling and scaffolding of new skills, I ensure that every student achieves excellence.
