A recent survey of 2023 high-school graduates conducted by YouScience reveals that a higher percentage of students -- 55% -- are choosing not to pursue a traditional four-year college degree, compared to 48% in 2019-2022. Instead, 69% of respondents are exploring alternative career paths, with 27% attending two-year colleges, 13% entering the workforce directly and 7% enrolling in trade or technical schools.
