A Network Connecting School Leaders From Around The Globe
Good Monday Morning All,
I was wondering if anyone could help me on some information for my practicum and internship needs. I am a current NYIT Masters in School Counseling student and this upcoming January I must begin my practicum of 100 hours for the course which will then segue into the fall semester that requires 600 hours of internship in a school setting in the guidance department.
The reason why I'm posting this is because I am also currently working full time at a local Nassau County elementary school with the hours of 8 - 4 and I'll require these hours to be done with a school district that has a night school program with school counselors that work in that program.
I would appreciate any assistance or information that anyone can give me. Unfortunately due to the time constraints I would require a placement that would be close to me so that I could get all the hours I require. Please contact me with any information you may have. I have attached my resume which will show my experience thus far.
Thank you for your time and attention. Please email me with any information you may have.
Happy Holidays,
Marisa DiMartino

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource
Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and
other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching
practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
