 NYS Certified Teachers Needed for 

Scoring 8th Grade ELA, MATH & 8th Grade Science Assessments!

Optimum Solutions Corp. is looking for certified 8th Grade ELA, MATH & Science teachers to electronically score NYS assessment exams during April, May & June 2014. There are a significant number of scoring hours being held when school is not in session making everyone a potential candidate for a position. 

ELA: 

The first wave of ELA scoring will be conducted during the Spring break, from Saturday,April 12th through Saturday, April 19th.

Additional scoring time is allotted from Monday, April 21st to Sunday, April 27th if the task isnot completed during the initial scoring period.

MATH 

MATH scoring will start Thursday, May 8th. A major scoring effort will take place on theweekend. Scoring will continue the following week until completion.

SCIENCE: 

Science scoring will run from June 7th through June 12th. Times and locations are TBD.

DETAILS: 

We will be scoring ELA at the elementary school opposite the East Islip High Schoolthrough Easter and then moving all scoring to the New York Institute of Technology CentralIslip campus.

The hourly pay rate is $40.00 for grade 8 teachers.
