Dear Administrators,

If you have a need to fill a vacancy for a 7th - 12th Grade Math Teacher/ESL Math Teacher position for 2016-2017, you may be interested in knowing I spent 5 years working as a Mathematics teacher residing in China for International schools.  I believe you would be interested in the following details:
  • Currently a 6th, 7th & 10th Grade Mathematics specialist focusing on Project Based Learning and Interdisciplinary Units in an inclusive IB World School with a 50%+ ESL population
  • Foster personal excellence, hard work, and mutual respect
  • Developed an on/off site ‘Math Trail’ for students to have a real world understanding of mathematics
  • Created number, pattern and estimation talks implemented from Grade 3 - Grade 10
  • Provided extracurricular coaching in First Lego League Robotics team, Gardening and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
If you would like to explore my experience in greater detail, I would be pleased to discuss it further.  Please leave a comment here with your contact information or send me a private message.  Thank you for your time and consideration.

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and

other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching

practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
