Board Of Regents Approves Emergency APPR Regulations; State Releases Updated Guidance

The New York State Education Department has released updated guidance and a summary of provisions on the Annual Professional Performance Review Law and Regulations.  The purpose of this guidance is to answer questions that educators, administrators, and community stakeholders may have about the 2010 teacher and principal evaluation law and regulations enacted earlier this summer.

The New York State Education Department will provide additional or updated guidance as necessary on its website, www.nysed.gov.  If you have further questions that have not been answered or addressed, please email educatoreval@mail.nysed.gov.
