Molloy College is excited to announce our newest Post-Master's Advanced Certificate Program

Molloy College is excited to announce our newest Post-Master's Advanced Certificate Program.  In addition to our School Building Leader Certificate Program (24 credits), we will now be offering the School District Leader Advanced Certificate (15 credits).  Not only do we offer competitive tuition (currently, $1,000 per course), but we also very flexible scheduling, start dates and delivery methods.

While most teachers choose to travel through the program as a "cohort", some teachers may choose to take only one course at a time and/or take a semester off.   Our programs offer classes to new students at the start of the fall, spring, and summer sessions and are offered in a hybrid format where students work asynchronously (remotely) with four Zoom sessions during the semester to work with their colleagues.

We can also offer the program within your district, if enough interest is shown. Should a district desire, the courses can be offered asynchronously without the Zoom sessions as most, if not all, of the students will be teachers within the district and assumedly be familiar with each other.  If a student opts to take the program at a different pace other than with their cohort at within a district, they can finish up with other online sections.

Additionally, if you are interested in pursuing a doctorate, several courses from both the SBL and SDL programs may be transferred directly into the Molloy doctoral program.

The program information, including the upcoming schedule of classes and registration information, can be found on our webpages at: www.molloy.edu/cps under,

“Post-Master's Certificate Leading to Certification”.

An SBL/SDL Information Session will be held on Wednesday, December 2 at 4:30 p.m. via Zoom. If you would like to R.S.V.P. to the session, have any questions or would like to see about offering the programs within your district, please contact Dr. Denise T. Smith, SBL/SDL Program Coordinator, School of Education and Human Services, Molloy College at: (516) 323-3114 or by email at: dsmith2@molloy.edu.

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and

other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching

practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
