Kim Marshall announced that in late October, he's partnering with Rocket PD to launch a monthly, nine-part series of interactive 90-minute webinars on rethinking teacher supervision, coaching, and evaluation. The goal is to support schools and districts as they analyze shortcomings with current practices and plan alternative systems that actually improve teaching, leadership, and learning.

Topics include: getting into classrooms much more frequently; observation skills; face-to-face conversations with teachers followed by brief write-ups; strategic use of rubrics; what to look for in classroom assessments, differentiation, and student learning; difficult conversations; and managing time so the most important work gets done.
