A Network Connecting School Leaders From Around The Globe
I had a wonderful experience that I would like to share. I signed up to spend several hours with Michael Keany and his colleague for job search help. In the session they helped me to focus my cover letter, rethink my resume, and hone my interview skills. The interview skills piece actually went way beyond the actual interview to help me focus on what I really wanted to convey in an interview. I learned to not just answer questions, but to use my answers to tell the committee about who I am and what I have to offer.
The assistance I received did not stop there: I emailed Michael several times after this session to ask questions about interviews, to seek advice on job offers, to get his thoughts on dilemmas I was facing, and each time got sage advice within hours.
I strongly advise any job seeker to make an appointment to work with Michael!

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource
Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and
other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching
practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
