Interesting Conferences Educators Should Check Out

Periodically, we take a look at some interesting education conferences that are happening around the globe and compile a list so that you guys don’t have to sort through tons (and tons, and tons) of information to find out what might be of use to you as you build your killer PLN and pad yourprofessional development arsenal.

While many of the conferences we’ve mentioned before happen every year, there are always new and interesting things popping up that reflect current trends in education.

Take a gander at the list below and see what might be of interest to you. A handful of the conferences have already happened this year but are interesting enough that we decided to include them so that you would be able to check them out for next year. Teaching & Learning with the iPad Conference

Teaching & Learning with the iPad began three years ago to provide teachers, administrators, schools and school districts guidance as they implemented the use of iPads in the classroom.  The conference has grown in attendance and breadth of content covered including keynotes, concurrent sessions and, new this year, extended workshop options.  Attendees will come away with valuable information to enhance their own skills with the iPad as well as new resources to facilitate use of the device in the learning environment.Many of the topics, tips, and techniques covered at the conference can be leveraged by educators at any grade level, from K through 16+.
