Languages Other Than English (LOTE)
Hagedorn Teacher Fellowship Program (Funded by the Hagedorn Foundation). This Hofstra program provides up to $10,000 in tuition support for candidates seeking new certification(s) at the master's or post-master's certificate level; employment in a high-needs district provides loan forgiveness.
Federal TEACH Grant This national program is administered in New York by the New York State Department of Education and offers up to $4,000 per year of study in a NYS shortage area at the master's level; employment in a high-needs district provides loan forgiveness. Funds can be distributed for programs above as well those in Elementary Education: STEM and Technology for Learning.

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs.
