Sharon Collins, a high-school teacher in New York City's Harlem neighborhood, is working to help her students succeed in college through a program that allows her to continue to meet with and advise her students after graduation. In this interview, Collins says she focuses largely on project-based learning, and describes how her school has modeled its grading structure on higher education.
