A Network Connecting School Leaders From Around The Globe
We have to tell you about a wonderful opportunity!
MM2Go(Math Midway 2 Go), developed under a grant to the Museum of MathematicsKickoff_2012_Flyer.pdf, is a set of six exhibits which are miniatures of the same six in Math Midway: Funny Face, Numberline Tightrope, Roller GraphicCoaster, Ring of Fire, Organ Function Grinder and Miles of Tiles. Designed for use in venues like schools, conferences and librairies, this portable group of exhibits allows children of all ages to discover the wonderful world of mathematics through hands-on activities. In addition, the team that produced MM2Go has also written plans for teachers that include pre- and post-visit activities which can help prepare students for a richer experience.
The Nassau County Mathematics Teachers Association is sponsoring MM2Go at Carle Place High School on September 20th from 4-6 pm, after a full day of student interaction with the exhibits. Teachers and supervisors will be able to see how MM2Go works in a school setting, interact with the exhibits, and witness multiple activities at all grade levels to accompany each exhibit. I have attached a flyer for those who wish to register. Carle Place is easy to reach either via the Long Island Railroad or by car (GPS address: 168 Cherry Lane, Carle Place, NY 11514).
Please consider joining us for an exciting introduction to this premier outreach of the Museum of Mathematics.

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource
Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and
other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching
practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
