Freeport High School, in alignment with the New York State Common Core Standards, presents a Module Fair

      The Department Chairs at Freeport High School would like to invite you to our Module Fair! Why reinvent the wheel? We are all creating modules for the Common Core Standards, so let’s share what we’ve done and have some collegial conversation and a nice breakfast at the same time!

Time: 10:00am– 12:00pm

Cost: FREE (includes continental breakfast)

What you need to do in order to participate:

  • Fill out the attached response sheet and send it to one of the email addresses on the bottom of the response sheet by February 20, 2012.
  • Each participant must provide 100 copies of a Common Core Standards Module for English, math ,science or social studies grades 9-12

Join us on March 3rd! Remember, many hands make light work!

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and

other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching
