Join Pete Reed, NASSP associate director of program services, as he welcomes four panelists from Lehigh University’s Center for Developing Urban Education Leaders (CDUEL) to discuss how to better prepare principals for the challenges of guiding a school. This expert panel will include CDUEL Director George White, Lehigh Professor of Practice Jon Dresher, Allentown (PA) School District Principal Heather Bennett, and Allentown School District Second-Year Administrator Erin Martin.
The webinar will focus on the recent Wallace Foundation report “The Making of the Principal: Five Lessons in Leadership Training,” which highlights lessons that school districts need to be aware of in recruiting, developing and retaining principals in today’s demanding accountability environment.
