Improving Leadership through Connected Learning

A free webinar on February 20.

In this special webinar, join noted educator, author, and social media leader Eric Sheninger for an exploration of the ways school leaders can use social media to their advantage.

The real-time web provides avenues like never before for school leaders to grow through connected learning. Nonetheless, leaders often express skepticism at the idea of harnessing the power of social media. This webinar will examine the facets of a connected learning model that can help leaders grow professionally and expose educators to the many free, readily accessible tools at their disposal.

Sheninger, considered a rock star among educators on Twitter and named one of the "20 to Watch" by the National School Boards Association, will also be a featured speaker at theIgnite 2013 conference, February 28–March 2 in National Harbor, MD, where he will lead the Technology Leaders Viewpoint session.

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and

other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching

practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
