Fishman Prize nominations and applications –

Up to five teachers will be chosen for this $25,000 prize presented by TNTP for outstanding classroom performance in high-poverty communities. Winners also take part in a six-week summer residency in which they meet education leaders and publish a collection of essays on successful teaching strategies. The early deadline for applicants is December 3, 2013 and the final deadline is January 21, 2014. Finalists receive a $1,000 award and national recognition. Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching
