A Network Connecting School Leaders From Around The Globe
Do you need someone who is New York State-certified for Social Studies, grades 7-12?
Are you looking for an educator that wants to engage students in lively discourse on history and social issues, implement cooperative learning activities, and teach them critical skills that they will use for the rest of their lives?
Do you need someone who knows the NYS Standards and NYS Common Core Standards for Social Studies and can implement it in a real classroom setting?
Do you want a teacher that is fun, patient, kind and sociable that also really enjoys puns (especially historical ones - one of my favorites: "There's no time for Stalin when you're Russian to industrialize)?
Well, then look no further.
My name is Jacqueline Papatsos and if you said yes to all of the above, I am the ideal candidate for your open position.
All joking aside, I am seeking a PT, Leave Replacement, or FT position as a Social Studies teacher in a middle or high school setting. I have my NYS initial certificate in Adolescent Social Studies Education and am currently working towards my professional certificate by getting my Master's of Education at Queens College.
Please feel free to contact me at jpapatsos@gmail.com
Have a great day!

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource
Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and
other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching
practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
