Education Commission of the States launches a new website and newsletter

Education Commission of the States, in the final stages of a complete rebranding effort to mark its 50th anniversary, today announced the launch of its redesigned website: www.ecs.org.

To provide the best possible support for policymakers and education leaders, the new website is streamlined to make it simple to search for information related to a vast array of education policy topics – from early learning through postsecondary.

Other new features include:

  • A live chat option so questions related to education policy can be addressed quickly and efficiently.
  • Robust filtering with the ability to drill down by subject matter, education level, information by state and more.
  • An overall much simpler and cleaner look so you can easily find relevant information.

Check out www.ecs.org today and let us know what you think!

Education Commission of the States also is pleased to announce the launch of a new e-newsletter: Ed Beat – Your education policy newsletter. Delivered to your inbox every two weeks, you will find timely updates including recent and upcoming reports, examples of our experts’ responses to state information requests, highlights on our state visits and much more.

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and

other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching

practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
