I have sampled many different sixth grade math textbooks.  I have looked over the CCSS for this grade level as well and many of these "resources" don't really align with the standards.  There is one that is very close to following the in-depth learning, but there aren't many resources to help reinforce the learning.  I used the core samples from CCSS, but the types of questions from my resources are not even an inch close to the types of questions CCSS will ask.  Therefore, I am creating similar questions from these test samplers and wondering, are we in fact becoming united due to these standards?  Yes and no.
