Apply for the Inviting School Award Program today!
Application Form due by December 31st for the 2016 awards
The IAIE Inviting School Award program is a wonderful journey of reflective practice that helps schools celebrate their strengths and discover new ways for every student and staff member to realize their full potential.  We encourage you to begin your school's implementation of inviting practices and consider applying for the international Inviting School Award!
Schools that have already introduced their staff to Invitational Education concepts should submit the simple "Intent to Apply" form by December 31st and begin working on their award portfolio, in time to complete it by the end of March, schedule an IAIE leader school visit to your school in April or May,  and be eligible for the Fall 2016 awards.
Schools that are just beginning to learn about Invitational Education may also begin the process with the goal of completing the award requirements by the spring of 2018.  Inviting School Awards are presented on even numbered years.
The Inviting School Award is the first step of your Invitational journey.  After this initial experience, schools are encouraged to continue working on positive school climate initiatives and apply for the four levels of Fidelity Awards that follow.  Every year brings new growth and progress for your staff and students.

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and

other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching

practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
