ACTFL 2014 Call for Proposals – Deadline January 15, 2014

The 2014 ACTFL Annual Convention and World Languages Expo of the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL) will be held November 21, 2014 through November 23, 2014, with pre-convention workshops onNovember 20 at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas. The ACTFL Convention features more than 600 educational sessions covering the whole spectrum of the foreign language profession. The theme for the 2014 Convention is Reaching Global Competence.

The entire selection process is designed to provide attendees with an exciting array of sessions and events to further your knowledge and skills to become better, well-informed teachers and administrators. We welcome language educators at all levels and of all languages to submit a proposal.

The deadline is Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at midnight Eastern Standard Time.

Please note: We are using a new submission system this year, which has been designed to make the process quicker and easier. When you login, it is very important that you carefully read all the information in the Submission Guidelines before proceeding to complete your online submission. All proposals for consideration must be submitted online and will not be accepted after the deadline date.

ACTFL Members: Your login for the Call for Proposals is the same as your ACTFL member login. Don't know your login and password? Contact the membership department at membership@actfl.org.

Non-ACTFL Members: You will need to “create an account” with ACTFL before logging in to submit a proposal.
