A Network Connecting School Leaders From Around The Globe
ASCD recently launched a new free digital tool for Common Core planning. It’s called EduCore, and you can learn more about it here.
ASCD is proud to work with the Literacy Design Collaborative (LDC) and to serve educators through the EduCore™ website, a portal to the LDC modules and other literacy resources. These modules, written by educators working through LDC, are designed to support core content teachers in implementing the Common Core State Standards. A standard format provides clarity and support for teachers as well as the flexibility for them to be creative. Each module focuses on a specific teaching task and includes the skills students need to be successful, a set of mini-tasks to guide instruction, and a scoring guide/rubric to help assess student performance. Throughout the website, you will also be introduced to ASCD's library of excellent professional development resources dedicated to literacy and the Common Core. These include a series of PD Online® self-paced courses: Common Core and Literacy Strategies: English Language Arts, Common Core and Literacy Strategies: History/ Social Studies, Common Core and Literacy Strategies: Mathematics, and Common Core and Literacy Strategies: Science.

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource
Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences. Now, nearly thirty years later, Mentors.net has taken on a new direction—serving as a platform for beginning teachers, preservice educators, and
other professionals to share their insights and experiences from the early years of teaching, with a focus on integrating artificial intelligence. We invite you to contribute by sharing your experiences in the form of a journal article, story, reflection, or timely tips, especially on how you incorporate AI into your teaching
practice. Submissions may range from a 500-word personal reflection to a 2,000-word article with formal citations.
