Invite you to join colleagues for a Professional Development Workshop, the Second in the LILAC Series:
“Using Google Apps to Support Literacy in the Classroom”
A former Technology Coordinator, Blanca E. Duarte is the founder of LogicWing, Inc., a technology consulting company focused on creating and sustaining 21st century learning environments through education. Over the last 15 years, she has worked with community leaders, business members, schools, museums, and non-profit organizations. She is a National Trainer for the Intel® Education Teach Elements courses and a Google Apps for Education Certified Trainer. Google Apps for Education is a collaborative suite of online tools that can help support literacy in the classroom. In this workshop, there will be hands-on activities to support reading and writing in the classroom, along with lively discussion on how Google Apps can support the Common Core learning standards for ELA and Literacy.
$10.00 workshop registration fee or free admission for LILAC and West Babylon School District members—please have your ID
LILAC Membership and Renewal will be available at this workshop
Certificates of Participation will be distributed and light refreshments will be served
