I’d like to invite all principals and their schools to an unprecedented event on Holocaust Rescuers that will occur at our Center on Sunday, October 16 at 2:00 pm. new%20RESCUER%20EVENT%20OCT%2016.pdf This event highlights character education, multiculturalism, interfaith issues, Upstanders, and the strength and importance of community.
The Jewish population in Albania increased during the Holocaust by 900% due to the Albanian code of honor practiced by Muslims, Catholics, and Christian Orthodox. No other country experienced this phenomenon, and it is even more remarkable when compared to its neighbor, Greece, where over 98% of Jews were murdered.
