Teachers and school leaders have a crucial role to play in helping the nation develop new strategies to transform our education system. What are the big ideas that will help us rethink how and where we deliver learning, make schooling more equitable, take advantage of new technologies, ensure that innovations flourish, and make education relevant to learning?
Prominent innovators from philanthropy, corporations, K-12 and higher education, government, cultural agencies, and other fields will gather at Big Ideas Fest 2010 (www.bigideasfest.org) to think through the challenges and work across sectors to design new strategies and solutions.
The event will be held from December 5th-8th at the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay, California. Partial scholarships are available. To learn more please e-mail bigideas@iskme.org or call 650-728-3322.
