Event Description

Nassau County Council of School Superintendents in conjunction with LIU, C. W. Post, will hold another Aspiring Superintendents' and Central Administrators' Study Group  scheduled for Thursday, March 15, 2012 from 4:30-6:30 pm in the Patrons' Lounge in the Tilles Center at LIU, C. W. Post Campus.  At this session, Study Group participants will hear panel members, Superintendents-- David Feller, Phyllis Harrington, and David Flately with moderator, Maureen Bright in an informative session entitled, Leadership Matters, focused on strategies to lead a district in a time of diminished financial resources, high accountability, and changing demographics. Study Group participants will also have the opportunity to network and interact in problem-solving activities. The Registration fee is $25.00. Nassau County administrators are invited to attend and may obtain registration information from their superindent's office.

Mentors.net - a Professional Development Resource

Mentors.net was founded in 1995 as a professional development resource for school administrators leading new teacher induction programs. It soon evolved into a destination where both new and student teachers could reflect on their teaching experiences.
