I was just wondering if anyone has successfully used Smart Notebook on an iPad. We tried remote desktop but it was VERY slow.

Thanks in advance!

From reading a bunch of Apple and SMART-related forum posts, it seems the only way to do it is through virtualization, which it sounds like you've already tried.

Have you tried any other remote/virtual clients (LogMeIn, TeamViewer etc.) ?  I've used TeamViewer, both over WiFi, and over the internet, and for me, it ran with a respectable framerate and very little lag (I disabled animations and other "bells and whistles" on the host PC).  I haven't run SMART Notebook, but would assume it would be just as smooth as the rest of the OS experience.

I attended a Smart Board and ipad training this summer.  SMART has not yet made an app.  They showed ways to use apps to mirror what is on the ipad and apps to project what is on the ipad onto the smartboard and then to interact with what is projected on the smartboard.  I would suggest contacting the people at teq, they conduct all of the pd for smartboards and their technologies.  http://www.teq.com/  Hope this helps.

i understand the Smart People are talking to the Apple people and they will be coming out with an IPAD app for the interactive smartboard
