Teaching character skills can be as simple as starting conversations with your kids.
Here are a few questions you can ask the next time you're in the car, at dinner, or spending time together.
  • What are easy ways to show your friends that you care about them?
  • What are the qualities you want most in a friend?
  • “If you want a good friend, you need to be a good friend.” Do you agree or disagree? Explain.
  • Think about your best friends. What do you like about them?
Don't forget to share these questions with another family!
