Presently the Assistant Dean for the School of Education at Dowling College where I continue to teach classes in the Advanced Certificate program in Educational Leadership. Just led our successful NCATE accreditation efforts and have leadership roles in our task force for Technology in education in Middle States and in strategic planning as well as in efforts to assist high school students in schools of high need to attend college.

Formerly an Assistant Superintendent for Educational Services and a K-12 educator and administrator for 35 years, I also do educational consulting in strategic planning, shared decision making, simulation, and curriculum planning.

Currently writing a book re educational leadership, futuring skills sets, and decision making.

    Welcome!  I'm so pleased you decided to join our School Leadership 2.0 community.  As you start to explore the site, and I hope you will, I feel confident that you will see its many benefits.  A good starting point might be the short video tutorials which you can find on the pull down menu on the home page.  Each highlights a special section of the community and provides clear instruction on how to participate.
