I have been an educator for thirty years, beginning as a middle and high school teacher of English and then a teacher educator. I am currently a Program Director, Deputy Chair, and Professor of Secondary Literacy Education seeking a position as an assistant superintendent of curriculum & instruction. I have extensive experience with data analysis, curriculum development, instruction, assessment, and providing professional development to teachers. My SDL license is currently pending, and I am beginning my job search. I have a master’s degree in Secondary Education and a PhD in Literacy Studies, with a second master’s currently pending in Educational Leadership.
