This June I completed a one year grant funded position at Southold Elementary School as a fifth grade inclusion and fourth grade resource room teacher. I am currently employed as a part time adult education literacy teacher at the Eastern Suffolk BOCES H.B. Ward Center in Riverhead. Furthermore, I also teach SAT, ACT, and GED preparation for the Patchogue location of the Huntington Learning Center, where I was chosen as Teacher of the Year for the current academic year.

I have been employed as leave replacements in special education positions for over 7 years. I have taught students with a great variety special needs, including emotional disturbance, autism, mental retardation, and other disabilities in a variety of settings, grades, and populations. I have taught academic, prevocational, technical, and vocational curricula in both self-contained and inclusive classrooms, with students ranging from kindergarten to twelfth grade.
