I am in my first year as K-12 Supervisor of Social Studies, Career Technologies, and Service Learning in the Oyster Bay - East Norwich Central School District.
Before coming to OBEN, I served as Social Studies Department Coordinator and Model Teacher at the Bronx Center for Science and Mathematics in District 9 (NYC). In my 7 years as a teacher in NYC, I taught courses such as AP World History, Regents Global History History, Regents U.S. History, and History Through Film. Outside of the classroom, I was very involved in the APPR, grant-writing, and pedagogical development within my school.
As a new administrator, I look forward to using this site as a way to learn from veteran administrators, network, and to collaborate in hopes of furthering student success.
