I work for ESBOCES in Family Education Outreach Programs This cluster of specially funded Title I programs serves at-risk children from ages 2 to 22. My office provides the children of migratory agricultural workers, homeless children, unaccompanied youth and other children who live below the poverty line with much needed supplementary educational services and advocacy.

In addition, we host the Eastern Suffolk BOCES Homeless Consortium and the Long Island Migrant Education Consortium, providing on-going advocacy, professional development and networking opportunities to member districts keeping them up-to-date on relevant issues and advocacy as we work together to responsibly serve homeless and migrant children and youth across Long Island. Educational advocacy, translation and interpreting services are also available for parents, children and youth. My office also serves as a clearinghouse of printed information and resources for the success of migrant and homeless children in school.
