Hello my name is Kim Pittsley. I started my career in education with the Islip Public School district where I had the wonderful opportunity to teach 5th 3rd 2nd and Kindergarten. My certifications include Elementary N-6, Music k-12, Special education k-6 and all three Administrative certifications. I left Islip to take on an Administrative position with Nassau BOCES where I was Program Coordinator for two years, unfortunately my position was eliminated due to budget cuts. I am a huge advocate for Arts in Education and the importance of these programs for our students. I would love to take on the role of Director of Fine and Performing Arts, and share my passion, talent, and experience with students, teachers and the community.
