Currently, I am a literacy specialist in Long Beach. My degrees include elementary education, literacy and administration SBL and SDL.
I am trained in the workshop model methodology through Teachers College Reading Writing Project, I am an advocate of teaching to the needs of the child with in their zone of proximal development. In addition, my teaching practices are guided through the use Cambourne's eight conditions of literacy development to help children develop language and literacy in pleasurable and meaningful ways.
