I have 25+ years of experience in the field of secondary mathematics education, including 5 years as a supervisor of mathematics in the Oyster Bay and Commack communities. I am currently the Mathematics Chairperson for the Northport-East Northport School District and also serve as an adjunct instructor at Suffolk Community College. I have extensive experience with the International Baccalaureate Program, and am now certified as an IBO Workshop Leader, Site Visitor, and Consultant. I have a particular interest in Growth Mindset (Carol Dweck and Lisa Blackwell)and all brain research that helps us understand how students learn.
