Educators would do better if they knew less theory and more art.

I can write, on this site for example, about education because I am first a novelist and artist. I know that truth and beauty dance together. I know that there are better, more beautiful ways to do things, and worst ways, which is often the preference of our Education Establishment.

I've called myself an education reformer for at least 25 years. But before that, I proudly called myself a novelist. Readers are invited to visit my literary site, Lit4u.com, which introduces you to nine novels, one epic poem, and two books about education.

The site is a work in progress and I believe more titles will be added next year.

Bruce Deitrick Price is a novelist, poet, painter, and education reformer.
