Good Morning LICAWE Friends,

I am just overwhelmed with our amazing meeting last Tuesday night!! The conversation, the rigor, the honesty, the hope, the enthusiasm, the
conviction!!! It was so welcoming and I felt right at home with
everyone! Thank you for the warm welcome, as it was my first meeting! And, I was so very pleasantly surprised to see SO MANY women at this event during a snow storm! The crowd was unimpressed with a few snowflakes, but incredibly steadfast in their commitment to sharing and moving forward with LICAWE goals!

Thank you for a fabulous presentation Doc Sheilah. ! You certainly
encouraged me to make more connections through twitter, blogging, etc. I am
looking forward to that! The possibilities seemed endless, surprising, and
promising! Thank you, Dr. Brenda Williams, for all you did to make this event so successful! Thank you, Susan Sciasca, for your encouragement to us all and for braving the storm from Rye, NY!

It was wonderful to be among woman who are so nurturing and excited to be an positive influence on women and education! I certainly felt a great sense of sisterhood and dedication!

I am looking forward to keeping in touch with
you all!
