An Illinois elementary school divides its students into four multigrade houses -- each focusing on a positive characteristic -- with fourth- and fifth-graders serving as student leaders. Students work to gain recognition for their houses, and currently, students are competing to complete 1,000 random acts of kindness around their school and community.
