 port the professional development to improve student outcomes; and to 
 build the capacity of multiple stakeholder groups in the educational c
 ommunity. The Task Force is supported by the Higher Education Support 
 Center for Systems Change.\nYou are cordially invited to attend the Ei
 ght Annual Summer Symposia, Rethinking Education through Cultural Com
 petence in Culturally Responsive Instruction, sponsored by the Long I
 sland Task Force for Quality Inclusive Schooling. The symposia will be
  held on July 27 & 28 2011 8:30-400 on Wednesday 8:30-noon, Thursday 
 at Dowling College Vanderbilt Mansion, Oakdale, NY. A flyer and regis
 tration form for the Symposia are included with this letter. The Eight
 h Annual Symposia provides an opportunity for administrators, general 
 and special educators, parents, and other key stakeholders in the educ
 ation community to come together, examine the issues and discuss effec
 tive strategies to help all students meet success in school. Please pl
